トドラー２さん、初めてのお散歩: June 13, 2008

ゆうこ先生より

今日は朝からいい天気。トドラー２のお友達はお散歩に出かけました。順番に並んでお散歩リングを掴んで、さあ出発！！

Y.K.ちゃん、「どこに行くの？Tim?」と先生に質問。お散歩が楽しみのようでした。

スクールの裏道を歩いていると、途中、喋々がひらひらと飛んでいるのを発見！みんな "Butterfly!!" と言って大喜び。

次にきれいなお花を発見！ティム先生が "What color?" と聞くと、"Pink"、"Purple" と答えが返ってきました。今度は "Who is wearing pink?" などと質問すると、"Yes!" とみんな反応していました。

トドラー１のお友達はプレイヤードでお遊び。K.N.くんとA.S.ちゃんもボールを投げたり、転がしたりして楽しんでいました。二人とも朝泣かずににお別れできるようになり、スクールに慣れてきました。

午後は "Coloring Book" 制作で、Turkey のぬり絵をしました。H.W.ちゃんは出来上がると、"This is purple. This is orange." と言って先生に見せ、一生懸命教えていました。

ロンパーとキンダーさんは、ジーナ先生と "Water cycle" について学びました。

Water cycle ＝ 雨の水が川となり、川から海に注ぎ、海水が太陽の熱で温められ蒸発して雲となり、その雲がやがて雨となって再び地上に降る、ということを先生が絵カードを使って説明すると、みんな興味深い表情で聞いていました。

私達にとって身近で大切な水は、地上や海、空をめぐって旅をしているのですね。

その後、それぞれ自分の好きな本を選んで借りました。A.S.ちゃんは、ティム先生に本を差し出し、"This one, please." と言い、カードに記入をしてもらっていました。

今日はトドラーさんが初めてお散歩に出かけた一日でした。上手に並んで歩くことが出来ました。またみんなでお散歩しましょう！！

Discussion on "helpers": June 12, 2008

Today, the kids were in a great mood. Tim and Jeana started out the day with songs and dancing.

Then the Toddlers had a story with Tim, while Lynette and Jeana did calendar and weather report with the Rompers and Kinders. The group is learning how to present a weather report. We will rehearse with one child in the morning before circle time, and then they will get to present the weather. The basic script goes like this...

"Good morning, everyone. This is (name) with the weather report.
Today is (date).
Today is (weather - i.e. sunny, rainy, partly cloudy).
Tomorrow will be (weather of their choice). *"

(*The kinders prefer a silly version of the last line.
They say something like "Tomorrow it will rain spaghetti." or "Tomorrow it will rain boogers!" Hey, they are in kindergarten after all. And actually, I am quite proud that the students of Y's Preschool can joke around like that in English! Pretty good, don't you think?")

After snack, the Toddlers worked on their Old McDonald coloring books, and the Rompers and Kinders worked on their letter "G" worksheets. We made really cute GOLDFISH in a bowl.

I see improvement in the kids' writing every week. Even our newest students are tackling the letters with gusto these days. And they enjoy the crafts so.

We also had the kids work in small groups - some of the kids were watching a DVD while they waited their turn at the craft table. They were well behaved and enjoyed the change in routine.

After their worksheets, the kids finished up their presents for Daddy (Sunday being Father's Day and all). Last month the kids drew a portrait of their mothers and we made a craft frame. So, this month we had the kids draw their fathers and made a matching picture. So, now they have the SET to hang on the wall at home.

Yeah! It's amazing to me that a four or five year old can accurately capture the essence of their father's faces in a crayon drawing. I wish I had something like that from my son when he was that age...

After lunch, we played with blocks or read books (choice) and then we had final Virtues and Manners class. We talked a little about the classroom rules - mainly be nice to eachother. I told the kids how much I appreciated their good behavior lately - they really line up well, and listen better at the tables.

And we talked about "Helping" in school and at home. I read "I CAN HELP" to the class and we discussed how they help at home. Many of the kids said they help make their beds or take care of younger siblings. A few say that they help with cooking. And clean up their toys. (Well, I should hope so.)

We had a vote to see if the kids wanted to separate the milk and lunch helpers, and A.S. and R.I. gave the pros and cons. (The Pros won!) One of the kids even suggested each kid get their own milk, but they (the kids, themselves) decided it was a bad idea to have too many people running aroud at milk time. I was really proud of them.

R.I. suggested that we also have a paper helper, and we all agreed to think about other helpers we might need in the future. We are working on getting the kids to sit still and listen to eachother in circle time, and also how to discuss and problem solve.

I was really proud of the Kinders today - they did a great job. And the Rompers did a good job of listening to their friends and voting.

今日のトドラーさんも朝から元気いっぱい。

"Good morning!"と元気に挨拶し、それからスムーズに所持品の始末も出来るようになりました。

朝の Circle Time が終わったトドラーさんたちは、New song をティム先生から教えてもらいました。

最後の hand のところが nose になったり head になったりします。

ティム先生の真似をして一生懸命覚えようとする子供たち。最後にどこに指を差すのが楽しみながら覚えていきました。

次は動物のカードで遊ぶことに。

"What animals are there?" と言いながらティム先生は動物たちの鳴きまね。

Dog、Cat、Pig、Frog などの鳴き声を聞き、R.O.ちゃん、H.W.ちゃん、M.S.ちゃんが次々と答えていきます。

ティム先生の鳴きまねもとても上手で、N.I.くんや、U.W.ちゃんも興味津々に見ていました。

その後は、パズルと Key 遊び。

同じ色の Key を集めてリングに通す遊びには、S.S.ちゃんも集中してやっていました。

アルファベットパズルをしていたY.K.ちゃん。みんなが途中でやめてしまっても最後まで一人で探して完成することが出来ました。

楽しそうに Key 遊びをしていたA.S.ちゃんの様子を見て、"A.S. Happy today?" と、ティム先生が尋ねると、"Yes!!" と、元気よく答えたA.S.ちゃん。

今日のトドラーさんも楽しく Happy に過ごした一日でした。

制作活動；「あじさい」・カレンダー・植物のからだのつくり: June 6, 2008

昨日はロンパー＆キンダーさんがさつまいもの苗を植えに畑へ出かけましたね。

そこで今朝のサークルタイムでは、ジュリアン先生が "What did you plant yesterday?" と、みんなに尋ねました。

すると、"potato!!"とU.Y.くん。 "No."と先生が答えると、再び "Baby potato!!"と、U.Y.くん。確かに・・・・Baby potato かも（？） 秋にはみんなのさつまいもが大きくなることでしょう。芋掘りが楽しみですね！！

歌の時間は "The Monkey Dance" に合わせて元気に踊りました。"Row Row Row Your Boat" はみんなが好きな歌の一つ。だんだんスピードが速くなるのが楽しいようで、みんな笑顔で歌いました。

今日のトドラーさんは壁面飾りのあじさい制作。まずはクレヨンのお散歩。（ぐるぐると色画用紙に描いて楽しみました。）そして小さく切った折り紙を貼っていきます。みんなたくさんのりを付けすぎることもなく、人差し指で上手に塗って貼り、最後までじっくり取り組むことができました。

一方、ロンパー＆キンダーさんは６月のカレンダー制作の続き。"６月＝梅雨の季節"を感じながらあじさいやカエルを作りました。

また、サイエンスの時間は植物のつくりについてジュリアン先生から学びました。Petal、 Leaf、Stem、 Seed、 Root と、先生に続いてみんな一緒に大きな声でリピート。そして Flower の絵を描き、かわいいお花が完成！

今日はみんなが制作に集中して取り組んだ一日でした。制作をするとそれぞれの個性が表れ、毎回子ども達の作品を見るのが楽しいです！

Field trip to our vegetable garden: June 5, 2008

On Thursday, June 5th, the long-awaited field trip to our vegetable garden (a small field) in Mogi FINALLY happened.

It was scheduled for Tuesday but, due to a typhoon, we had to reschedule. It was a beautiful partly cloudy day. The kids brought their hats and water bottles and boots, and we piled into the two vans and hit the road. On the way, we sang "Let's All Go, to the Vegetable Garden!" and looked for ABC's.

Each child planted two sweet potatoe plants in the rows. They learned how to walk BETWEEN the mounds/rows, and were generally fascinated by the bugs and rocks and sticks they saw, as all small children are.

We saw LOTS of nature, AND houses and cars and other stuff, too! Even construction (on Route 4 AND Route 288!). R.I.'s mommy dropped by to say "hello", and we thanked her for lending us the field.

It was lunch when we returned and after lunch we worked on our June Calendars (which we finished on Friday). The kids enjoyed making Hydrangea *bushes and a little frog and drawing the raindrops. This is a traditional design for June in Japan. Usually the kids make this flower with rain drops and either a frog or a snail. (We made really cute paperplate snails on Wednesday). Hydrangea are usually made by cutting out a pink or light blue "cloud" to represent the bush shape. Then decorated with smaller "blossoms" of deeper colors to represent the individual flowers.

I've seen a million variations on this simple craft and they always turn out elegant! But, that's no surprise, since the Hydrangea is an elegant flower. I love the way hydrangea bushes are everywhere in the summer here. Last year, the bush near my house blossomed until November (I'm not kidding).

(Hydrangea = sounds like dangerous, doesn't it? In Japanese we say "ah-jee-sah-ee"(American phonetics) or "a-ji-sai" (in romanized Japanese) )

Anyway, we had a lovely day. We are looking forward to eating the sweet potatoes in the fall!

"Wash wash?": June 3, 2008

ともこ先生より

先週末から保育室の工事が始まり、トドラーさんのお部屋にも新しくかわいらしい小さな水道ができました。

それを初めて見たU.W.ちゃんが、"Wash wash?" と、尋ねてきました。その後早速石鹸でおててをゴシゴシ洗うと満足そうでした。

スナックタイムが終わると、今度は new toys で遊ぶことに。

新しいおもちゃは子供たちには魅力的に見えたらしく、"What's this?" と、ティム先生に質問責め。"It's a new toy!!"

4つの形をした積木 (circle、triangle、square、tube) には穴があいてあり、そこに紐を通して遊ぶおもちゃです。

一人一人に何色の紐が欲しいか聞き、そしてその紐と同じ色の積木を通したり、同じ形のものだけを通して遊んだりしました。

好きな積木を探すとき、普段はとてもおとなしいS.S.ちゃんも "Blue please!"、"Red please!" と、積極的に発言する姿が見られました。

"What shape is that?"というティム先生の質問にも、"Circle!!" と元気に答えられたM.S.ちゃん。

"How many?" と聞かれ、一つ一つ数えながら、"Ten!!" と答えられたA.M.ちゃん。

最近スクールの生活にも慣れ、泣かなくなってきたR.S.ちゃんも小さな手で一生懸命紐に積木を通していました。

今日は遊びながら、色や形、数などをティム先生と一緒に遊びながら学んだ日でした。

G-R-E-E-N in the "BINGO" tune: June 2, 2008

ティム先生

Today the kids enjoyed "Head and Shoulders" and the "Teddy Bear" song. N.Y. was singing the "Teddy Bear" song all through the morning.

Later in Toddler time the Toddlers enjoyed the song by the Wiggles called, "Can you point your finger and do the twist?.

Next they enjoyed the story, "Hoot, Howl and Hiss" and "Spot goes to the Beach". The Toddlers also sang a new song called G-R-E-E-N in the "BINGO" tune which they seemed to enjoy.

This months themes are Green, Squares, and Farm animals and the Toddlers enjoyed the story "Rock-a-Bye Farm".

They then had fun learning alphabet vocabulary.

After lunch the Toddlers tried their hand at tracing/drawing lines. The older Toddlers could do this, but the younger ones just had fun colouring.

Next they had a shape matching activity and then sat down and listened to a story called "Are you afraid of the Bear?".

はらぺこトドラーさん: May 30, 2008

ゆうこ先生より

朝の歌の時間、全員で "Peanut Butter and Jelly" や "The Green Grass Grows" を歌いました。これらの歌は、みんな口ずさみながら振り付きで楽しく歌えるようになりました。

その後、それぞれの活動に分かれ、トドラーさんはお話 "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" を見ました。何度かお話を見るうちに、みんな次に出てくる食べ物の名前を覚え、元気に答えています。

ティム先生がわざと、Orange を Banana と言うと、M.S.ちゃんが "No!! Orange." と訂正してくれました。 Lollipop をペロペロ、Chocolate cake をムシャムシャ食べる真似をしてみんな喜んでいました。

たくさん食べて丸々と太った Caterpillar が、最後に葉っぱを食べるとき、先生が "Is it yummy?" とみんなに聞くと、一斉に "Yummy!!" という答えが返ってきました。

一方、ロンパー＆キンダーはジュリアン先生と数の勉強、ジーナ先生とファミリーブックの作成をし、集中しながら先生の話を聞いて取り組んでいました。

ランチタイム。R.O.ちゃんとA.M.ちゃんがヘルパーになり、"Hands together. One, Two, Three, いただきます。" と元気に挨拶。二人とも "Good job!!"

トドラーさんのヘルプをしたいというS.S.ちゃん。今日はトドラーのお友達と一緒にお弁当を食べ、お手伝いをしてくれました。ランチの後は、K.N.くんをひざに抱っこしてあやしてくれ、まるでお母さんのようでした。

今日ははらぺこトドラーさん達が、"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" のお話を楽しんだ一日でした。

みんな小さな消防士さん: May 27, 2008

ともこ先生


今日は、ロンパー・キンダーさんが待ちに待った消防署見学にLet's go!!

消防署につくと、大きな消防車や救急車を見て大興奮の子供たち。

特別に訓練もみせてもらい、消防士さんたちが働く姿を見た子供たちにはヒーローに見えたのではないでしょうか。

はしごを上っている姿を見ていたK.F.くんが一言。

「モンキーだ!!」

すばやく登る姿は確かにモンキーそのものでした。

スクールで待っていたトドラーさんは、赤と青のすずらんテープを持って

"Hurry Hurry Drive the Firetruck" の歌を歌いました。

みんな小さな消防士さん。

「Hurry Hurry」と歌いながらお部屋の中を Drive!!

曲が終わると、「Once more!!」と、M.S.ちゃんとA.S.ちゃん。

N.I.くんとU.W.ちゃんもティム先生の真似をしてとてもかわいらしかったです。


ロンパー・キンダーさんは、力強い消防士さんを見て目を輝かせ、トドラーさんは、小さなかわいい消防士さんになって、楽しい一日を過ごせました。

"Hurry, Hurry, Drive the Firetruck"!: May 26, 2008

ティム先生

In song-time the kids really enjoyed the songs "The Green Grass Grows All Around" and loved the song "Hurry, Hurry, drive the firetruck" because they could pretend to be a firetruck.

In the morning routine the Toddlers enjoyed the story "I like it when..." and then the song "Simon says clap your hands".

Red is one of the themes for the month and I had the Toddlers ask for a Red key, "Red key please" and then they had to ask for two Red keys, then three Red keys.

Later we had the story "The very Hungry Caterpillar" and I asked them to "Point to the icecream", etc... . The older Toddlers were very good in this activity, for example; A.M. and H.W. could identify most of the vocabulary in the book.

After lunch the kids continued with colouring in the "Hungry Caterpillar" book and then some of them tried to shape the letter "F".

After this all of the kids enjoyed a story about firefighting called the "Firestation".

5月のお誕生会: May 23, 2008

ゆうこ先生

今日は５月のバースデーパーティーを行いました。

誕生日のお友達は・・・・トドラーのA.M.ちゃん、H.T.くん、A.S.ちゃん。

３人そろって３歳です。みんなに "How old are you?" と尋ねると、小さなかわいい指を３本出して教えてくれました。"Happy Birthday!!"

バースデーのデザートは、いちごのトライフル。ランチのデザートにみんなおいしそうに食べていました。

午後、トドラーさんは "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" を制作。

点線をマーカーでなぞり、丸い色紙を貼っていきます。S.A.くんは上手に線の通りに丸を描き、自分の力で一番に完成させました。

H.W.ちゃんは、最後に Catrepillar の顔（目、鼻、口）を上手に描いてティム先生に見せ、"Good job, H!" と褒められてちょっぴり誇らしげな表情。

来月お誕生日のH.W.ちゃんは、３歳=お姉さんになることを今日この頃意識して話してくれます。

お誕生日が待ち遠しいようですね。

今日は３歳のバースデーをお祝いし、かわいい Caterpillar を制作した一日でした。

"Green Grass Grows All Around": May 22, 2008

ジーナ先生


We started out the circle time by watching a DVD of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

The kids enjoyed singing with the DVD and seeing the whole story (because our board book only tells the first part).

The kids liked the part where the mommies and pappas came and picked up the children. They enjoyed seeing all the boo-boos (ouches) that the baby letters got when they fell out of the coconut tree.

After that we sang and danced. We learned a new song, "Green Grass Grows All Around", and we did a couple of circle songs like Looby Loo (kids are still not great at doing circle songs).

Then we did a little A-B-C-D Yoga. The kids enjoyed acting like alligators, and butterflies, and crocodiles, and driving their cars.

Then it was snack time.

After snack, the Rompers did their letter E worksheets. Yuko came up with this cute cracked egg with clear wrap for the egg white! Everyone did a good job writing their names and writing the letter "E".

The Kinders read books and worked on a maze while the Rompers were doing their craft, while Tim and the Toddlers played with the Hungry Caterpillar magnet story.

Before lunch, Tim took the Rompers out for PE while I and the Kinders sang some songs and read to the Toddlers.

And after lunch, Jeana did Language Arts with Kinders, while Rompers read stories or did some free art/drawing time.

(Miss Lynette was out today with a sick child. We hope A feels better soon.)

In closing circle, we sang the song of the Hungry Caterpillar and read the story of the "First Strawberries".

「赤」一色！トドラーさん!!: May 20, 2008

ともこ先生より

今日のトドラーさんは "This bus song" の歌をうたいました。

おイスを並べて、さあ出発です。

"Where do you want to go?" のティム先生の質問に "Strawberry Park!!!" と、元気よく答えた、R.O.ちゃんとH.W.ちゃん。

先週のフィールドトリップがとても楽しかったようです。

その後はみんなが大好きな歌 "Skidamalink" を元気に歌うことが出来ました。

今日は Red にちなんだストーリーや遊びをしました。

マジックボックスの中に、ボールや、チューリップ、ブロックなど赤いものがたくさん。最後に赤いエルモのぬいぐるみが登場すると、みんな大喜び。

"What color?" の質問に "Red!!" と大きな声で答えたS.A.君。

それからお部屋で Red 探し。

Y.K.ちゃんの洋服に Red car がプリントされてあり、それを見つけたM.S.ちゃんが

"Look!!" と指差しながら、ティム先生に教えていました。

今日は Red 一色のトドラーさん。

赤い色を見つけては大喜びしていた一日でした。

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Story: May 19, 2008

ティム先生より

Today the kids enjoyed the song "I have a joy" in song-time, which they love a lot.

In Toddler time we sang some extra songs like "Eentsy Weency spider".

They then sat down and enjoyed the story "Wheres Spot?"

Later after snack time we had the "The Very Hungry Caterpillar Story" which we have been doing on the whiteboard, and they are really curious about the story and what happens to the Caterpillar.

We also did "E" vocabulary, Egg, Elevator, Exit, and Elephant, and after lunch we started a "Hungry Caterpillar " colouring book and the Toddlers just love a chance to colour!

春の親子フィールドトリップ－いちご狩り: May 16, 2008

春の親子フィールドトリップ、いちご狩り！！

今週初めは肌寒い日が続きましたが、今日は晴天、お出かけ日和です。いちご狩りを楽しみにしていた子ども達。今日は晴れて良かったですね！

みんなが集まり、サークルタイム。先生達と "Head Shoulders" や "I have a joy" など、歌を歌いました。

いちごのハウスの中に入ると赤くておいしそうないちごが!・・・・みんな沢山食べてうれしそうな顔。

H.I.くんは、大きないちごを頬張り、R.I.くんは手も真っ赤にして沢山食べたようでした。

A.M.ちゃんに "How many did you eat?" と尋ねると、にこにこしながら手をパーにして教えてくれました。５つ（？）食べたのかな？

お腹の中がいちごでいっぱいになった後は・・・こどものもり公園へ出発！

公園に着くとアスレチックの遊具で遊んだり、ボールで遊んだり・・・みんなのびのびと過ごしました。トドラーのM.O.ちゃんは高い所も怖がらず、平気で吊り橋も渡っていました。

一方、虫採りに夢中の男の子達。R.I.くん、U.Y.くん、H.K.くん、K.H.くん、T.E.くんは、虫を見つけては歓声を上げ、蝶々やカエルを捕まえて大興奮でした。

元気に遊んでお腹が減り、ランチタイム。青空の下で食べるお弁当はおいしかったことと思います。

今日はお天気に恵まれ、いちご狩りを楽しみ、自然の中で元気に遊んだ一日でした。保護者の皆様もお疲れ様でした！！

"Find a peanut" ～ "Hungry Caterpillar": May 13, 2008

本日より、ともこ先生、初登場!! よろしくお願いします。


今日のトドラーさん、曇り空なんて吹き飛ばすくらいのニコニコ笑顔。

新しい歌 "peanut butter and jelly" もだいぶ覚え、ティム先生の真似をして踊っている姿はとてもかわいらしいです。

今日は "Find a peanut" の game をしました。

小さな peanut をティム先生がお部屋に隠すgame で、隠してる間子供たちは twenty まで数えて待っています。

その後 "Are you ready?" と声をかけ、いっせいに peanuts 探し。

そのときの子供のたちはとても生き生きして、見つけるとティム先生に喜んで見せていました。みんな沢山の peanuts を見つけられてとても満足そうでした。

そして story time は、"Hungry Caterpillar" のパネルシアター。小さな腹ペコあおむしが色々な果物を食べる有名なお話です。

"How many ?" の質問に、元気よく数を数えるM.S.ちゃん。

"What this?" の質問に、"strawberry!!" と元気に答えるR.O.ちゃん。

すると、H.W.ちゃんが、「Friday には strawberry 沢山食べるんだよね」と、嬉しそうに話していました。

フィールドトリップ、今から楽しみにしているようです。

当日はお天気になり、スクールのかわいい腹ペコさんたちがおいしいイチゴを食べて元気に外で遊べるといいですね。

Running race in the Play Yard: May 12, 2008

ティム先生より

Today in song time, the kids enjoyed the song "I have a joy" and "Now Tall, Now Small".

Then in Toddler time the kids enjoyed more songs like "Sally the Camel" and the "Peanut Butter" song by Barney and also I asked them "Hows the weather?".

The Toddlers then studied "D" vocabulary and also "Fruits" vocabulary and then had a story called "Scoop" from the Bob the Builder series of books.

We went outside and attempted to do a short obstacle course and then had a running race. H.W. was the fastest runner in the race.

Later in craft time the kids continued with the shaping of the alphabet letters from soft clay. R.O. and A.M. did a great job of following instructions from the teacher.

Todays home time story was the "Lunchbox surprise".
　

"Round and Round the Garden" : May 9, 2008

ゆうこ先生より

トドラーさんは・・・手遊び "Round and Round the Garden" をしました。

子どもの手のひらを庭に見立て Round and Round the Garden, went to Teddy Bear で、クマ（人差し指）が手のひらをぐるぐるし、One step, Two steps で、手から腕へと上がって、Tickly under there で、わきの下をくすぐります。

日本の手遊び「いっぽんばしこちょこちょ」に似ています。ティム先生が順番にみんなをくすぐり、子ども達はケラケラ笑っていました。

チャンツ "Who took the cookies from cookie jar?" は、トドラーさんも "Who Me?" と答えて楽しめるようになりました。

R.O.ちゃんは「R.O.も～！」と言って早く答えたい様子でした。

そして、紙粘土を使っアルファベット制作。今日の Letter は "B" です。

ティム先生、朋子先生と一緒に "B" の形を作りました。次回絵の具で色を塗ったり、ビーズなどを埋め込んで完成させます。
　
今日はA.M.ちゃんの Birthday!! ３歳ですね。

最近のA.M.ちゃんは自分より年下のトドラーさんをかわいがってくれ、すっかりお姉さんです。

今日のトドラーさんはみんなで仲良く、和やかに過ごした一日でした。
　

A Violin Concert: May 7, 2008

Children made a bueautiful craft for Mother's Day, everyone seemed very happy during the activity.

After the craft, a violin concert was held at Y's Preschool.

Mr. Satoshi Inoue played cheerfully for the children and would play the violin as many of them requested some songs like Doraemon, Tonari no Tototo, etc.

Students behavior was outstanding and everyone had a wounderfull time and all through English!
　

バイオリン・ミニリサイタル: May 7, 2008

きみ先生より

Welcome come back to school, everyone! How was your Golden Week?

みなさん楽しい連休を過ごされたことと思います。

今日は、バイオリンの井上先生が、再びＹＰＫの子どもたちのためにミニリサイタルを開いてくださいました。

子どもたちのよく知っている「ドラえもん」や「さんぽ」、「ミッキーマウスのマーチ」などを演奏してくださいました。

また、「チューリップ」や「こいのぼり」など、英語で歌えるようになった歌も演奏してくださり、井上先生の伴奏に合わせて、子どもたちは元気良く声を出して歌うことができました。

クラシックも2曲弾いてくださいました。「メヌエット」が流れてくると、子どもたちはジュリアン先生とのお約束(マナーを守ってリサイタルに参加することを事前にジュリアン先生とお話していました)をしっかり守って、みんなお利口さんに鑑賞することができました。

リサイタルにご出席くださった保護者様方、ありがとうございました。

リサイタルの合間をぬって、今日は Mother's Day のクラフト制作にも取り組みました。それぞれにすてきな作品に出来上がりました。

お母さま方には週末までのお楽しみです。
