A play about table manners: August 27, 2007
レベッカ先生より
Today was the beginning of K week.
The Kinders started the morning with the Nursery Rhyme “The three little kittens” and a worksheet.
The other students made crowns for today’s birthdays.
Morning routine started with the teachers performing a play about table manners.
The children had to tell us if we were being good or bad.
Some of the manners we performed were
"Don’t speak with your mouth full",
"Don’t put your feet on the table",
"Cover your mouth when you sneeze" etc.
Then we did the weather followed by a couple of songs, "Knock, Knock" and "Shark Attack".
At snack time we had a birthday party for Y.S., L.H. and S.S.
The children sung "Happy Birthday" to them all and enjoyed some delicious strawberry mousse cake.
For class, Rompers started their K vocabulary with flash cards. Kangaroo, Kite, Kitten, and Kettle were just a few of the words we studied.
Then we did a K writing worksheet with a dot to dot kangaroo.
After class we stared organizing teams for our sports day in October.
We separated the students into two teams and they choose their team colors, Red and Yellow.
Then the two teams practiced marching. They were very good for their first time.
12 o’clock came and it was time for Lunch.
After, the children played "Find the Keys" and musical chairs to the Wiggles songs.
