Started making things for our shopping project: November 6, 2007
レベッカ先生より
In the morning Kinders started a worksheet for the nursery rhyme the Queen of Hearts for Q week.
The morning routine started with the good morning song. The kids really like it when we use the different suns to represent the morning and afternoon.
We looked at some autumn vocabulary and then went on to read “The little red hen” which is the story of the month.
Song time we did the song Quack, Quack (for Q week). It’s a very simple song but the kids loved it.
Today Rompers did their readers “What is it?” We tried to get the children to really slow down and understand the separate words and not forget to say ‘a’ before the animal, It is a rabbit, etc.
For math we measured the rooms of the school by counting our footsteps.
3 students did each room once and we checked to see if we all got the same answer.
For craft we started making things for our shopping project.
Toddlers made some yummy ice-creams and Rompers and Kinders made delicious cupcakes.
After lunch we played 4 corners and Simon Says. The kids are starting to get too clever for Simon Says and it’s hard to catch them out.
We finished with the good-bye song.
